Merry Christmas!

Christmas with Kyle

Since Kyle is with his dad this Christmas, Jer and I celebrated with him yesterday. We enjoyed a sunny day with presents, apple crisp, iceskating, hot chocolate, a scooter, the holiday light display at the Del Mar fairgrounds, and finished it off cozy on the couch watching the Polar Express.
 Way too many pictures below.

Christmas Cheer

Kyle has gotten a few cash Christmas and birthday gifts from relatives and had saved himself quite a tidy little sum. This morning we read the Christmas story from Luke and talked about how the real meaning of Christmas is love and giving. I suggested that if he wanted to, he could think about using [...]

A Whole New World

So I’m on this new workout kick that Tory introduced me to called Interval Training. The point is to spike your heart rate in between periods of recovery, and because it’s so intense, you can shorten the length of your workout and get the same or better results of a long workout.

A Night at the Roxsbury

A night out with the girls on Niki’s birthday. I had to shamelessly steal the one with my face in it from Connie’s blog.

Update

I generally don’t do updates, but I’ve been chained to my desk and have nothing else blog worthy. My week has been crazy, but it’s Wednesday, aka “hump day”. My boss is on vacation so I’ve been manning the office on my own this week and while busy, thankfully nothing too catastrophic has happened thus [...]

My baby niece

She’s so cute I could just gobble her up! That is if she doesn’t beat me to it.

The Two Sagittarians in my Life

My dad, Mark, came to visit from San Francisco a couple weekends back and I just got around to documenting it here. Sorry, I couldn’t decide which picture I liked better. It’s a Libra thing.
 Let’s just hope Jer doesn’t see this….
