I don’t often recommend movies, but we came across this delightful film almost by accident and really enjoyed it. It’s a story about 3 soldiers who come home on a month’s leave from Iraq, each with their own demons to face who end up travelling across country together.
It’s interesting, heart warming and got us laughing [...]

After I came back from lunch I realized I’d left these notes in plain view on my desk. With sales guys borrowing my desk and customers in and out while I was out, I felt like I needed to get everyone together for a disclaimer.

I think this new image from NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory is beautiful and amazing, …like the hand of God.

Aside from dumping on Jesus, there’s nothing that cures me from a mentally and emotionally draining day better than a good, hard run. It seems like each stride helps to melt away the tension and stress, so the faster I run the better. Hills are the bomb.
How do you cope?

The drowsy water-rats;
There we’ve hid our faery vats,
Full of berries
And of reddest stolen cherries.
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the [...]

I heard this story on the radio this morning and it reminded me of the dream Dad had, The Crash. Apparently the “grocery shrink” is happening on a pretty large scale now (Costco included), although I’d rather they size down portions then raise prices as they’ve been hiked up enough as it is.
On the up [...]
